The real estate and property team at Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP continues to expand with the appointment of experienced solicitor Mark Appleyard, who joins the firm as a consultant.

For over 35 years, Mark has advised commercial and residential property developers, and landlords of commercial properties across a wide range of matters. This includes advising upon site assembly and land options, conditional purchase agreements, development agreements, pre-letting and leasing of properties, as well as freehold sales.

Mark also advises clients on funding agreements, joint venture agreements and bank financing of developments, together with construction contracts, professional appointments and collateral warranties. He also helps landlords with property management issues.

Bluestorm Design and Marketing is celebrating a number of recent successes with a promotion and two new hires.

Ed Rex joined Bluestorm as Digital Consultant in March 2022, having previously worked in digital projects and marketing in the public, third sector and the travel and hospitality sectors and set to work offering a number of improved SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing services, with some great results achieved for clients.

Ed has grown his team to include two digital marketing executives, and together they have achieved significant results for their clients through search engine optimisation audits, social and digital advertising, new analytics reporting programs, new digital initiatives. The team will continue to be a part of their clients’ expanded marketing teams through client support, reporting and on-boarding set-up.

Ben Godbold joins Bluestorm having worked in marketing for 15 years, both in advertising agencies and businesses. Ben has a love of data and understanding why things happen, and will be supporting Bluestorm’s growth strategy alongside leading on client services.

Holly Oakley joins the company in her first marketing role, having worked in client services roles previously. Holly will be supporting all aspects of marketing, comms and PR at Bluestorm.

Outdoor media operator 75Media has launched a dedicated team in Scotland, with three new appointments, to keep up with its expanding portfolio of classic and digital billboards in the country.

Mark Russell will head up the team as business director for Scotland. He has over 10 years of experience in out-of-home (OOH), previously working at Primesight, Global and Clear Channel. He brings with him extensive experience in leading and managing OOH sales teams, selling to specialists, agencies and direct clients on a local, regional, national and international level.

Ollie Paxton, who will cover the Edinburgh area as business development manager, has a proven track record in OOH with over eight years spent at Exterion and Global. Ollie has experience of dealing with clients at all levels and is passionate about planning targeted out-of-home campaigns for clients.

Also joining the team is Stuart Robertson who will be business development manager for Lanarkshire. Stuart has over 20 years of experience in sales at blue chip companies and media owners, including BT, Johnston Press & Mail and the Metro.

75Media launched in Scotland earlier this year, taking on Scotland’s largest outdoor advertising structure, the M8 Tower in Glasgow, as well as the iconic Edinburgh Airport Tower which, collectively, deliver 2.5 million impacts a fortnight. The company has 122 advertising sites being developed, with 90 now operational – 22 digital and 68 classic – on key arterials around areas including Motherwell, Paisley, Renfrew, Irvine, Newmains, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

By the end of the year, 75Media’s live digital inventory will grow to 37 in Scotland. Looking ahead to spring 2024, this figure will rise to 52, further supporting its goal of becoming the OOH market leader in Scotland.
