Property people: Town Centre Securities and Keepmoat

Leeds-based property development and investment company, Town Centre Securities PLC (TCS), has confirmed two more appointments – Lynsey Clarke and Victoria McLeod.

Clarke joins as asset manager for the Merrion Centre in Leeds, the company’s single largest asset, bringing a wealth of experience as a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer.

With a first-class honours’ degree in Business Property Management, her career has spanned valuation, development, property management, landlord and tenant, and agency.

In her new role, she will play a pivotal role in supporting TCS’s experienced team in the further development of the Merrion Estate, which welcomed 8.9m internal visitors in 2023 along with an influx of new brands.

McLeod brings more than 20 years’ experience to her position as area operations manager at TCS and will be overseeing key sites across the business’s portfolio in both Leeds and Manchester.

She has played a key role in maintaining, progressing and growing business strategy across city regions and has been instrumental in developing partnerships, driving new business growth and overseeing various aspects of property management.

Keepmoat regional managing director, Daniel Crew, has been appointed regional chair for Yorkshire and the North East Members Managing Directors group at the Home Builders Federation (HBF).

Crew, who heads the Yorkshire East team at the Doncaster-based housebuilder, will join the representative body of the home building industry in England and Wales to lead on raising issues of regional concern to create effective solutions across the sector.

With nearly 15 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry, he has knowledge and expertise across the industry.

Sustaining his role as Keepmoat’s regional managing director at the Yorkshire East office for more than five years, he has led significant regional growth including the completion of more than 720 new homes last year.

His new role as chair with the Home Builders Federation will see him driving attendance at meetings from key sector colleagues, sharing knowledge on regional updates across local providers ranging from highways to planning agencies and beyond.

Crew said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed and I am looking forward to working with the HBF and fellow members to continue upholding the industry’s highest standards in delivering new homes in England and Wales.”
