Agency roundup: Flaunt Digital; Fishtank Agency; Prohibition; and more

Leeds-based digital agency Flaunt Digital has celebrated becoming one of the few businesses within the city that are B Corp Certified.

This acknowledges an organisation’s adherence to high standards of social and environmental impact, as well as public transparency, and legal accountability.

The certification recognises the agency’s commitment to raising standards within five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

Flaunt worked with B Corp leader Fiona Ras-Jones, who assisted in determining the agency’s purpose and impact from the early stages of its assessment journey.

CEO of the agency, Lee Fuller, said: “Receiving our B Corp certification is a huge achievement and something I am proud and grateful for.

“It validates the core principles of how we operate as a business, and reinforces how we are moving forward.

“I am excited to continue our B Corp journey and working towards improving on our score in the coming years.”

Mirfield-based integrated marketing company, Fishtank Agency, has gained B Corp accreditation, having met rigorous social and environmental standards representing its commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit.

The accreditation means the agency joins a community of 1,500 B Corps in the UK and 7,000 certified as B Corps worldwide.

Alongside the B-Corp accreditation, the agency has also achieved the Great Places to Work certification, recognising employers who create an outstanding employee experience.

Founded in 2008 by Damien Fisher, the agency employs 20 staff. Its client base includes Britvic, Berry Global, Seal For Life, HUDL, Veezu, Central Technology and Tubex, with recent projects delivered for charities, Henshaws, Boparan and Sheffield Hospitals.

Over the next three years, Fisher aims to grow the company to a £2m plus turnover agency and increase its headcount to 30.

He said: “Having achieved B Corp and the Great Places to Work accreditation is a testament to our people, who are a key building block of our agency.

“It demonstrates commitment throughout the business to do better for our clients and colleagues, resulting in better outcomes for people, businesses and the planet.

“Intrinsic to our values, I believe these accreditations will be the foundation of the agency’s ongoing success as we embark on our ambitious growth plans in the years ahead.”

Chris Turner, executive director of B Lab UK,  added: “The B Corp community is a movement of companies committed to changing how the business operates and believes business can be a force for good.

“We know Fishtank will be a fantastic addition to the community and will continue driving the conversation forward.

“Welcoming Fishtank is exciting because they can lead the way within the digital sector.”

PR agency, Prohibition, has been awarded a strategic social media brief with LSL’s Estate Agency Franchising Division – one of the largest providers of estate agency franchise services in the UK.

It owns multiple estate agency brands, including Your Move and Reeds Rains, and has briefed Prohibition to deliver a comprehensive social media training and strategy programme for its 300 franchised branches.

The central focus will be on helping each branch better leverage social media marketing, with the aim of building their reputations locally, and better attracting and converting landlords and sellers.

In addition, Prohibition will be creating a group-wide social media playbook, highlighting best practice.

Emma Tildesley, Your Move & Reeds Rains senior brand marketing manager, said: “Social media has never been more important in the domestic property market, with both vendors and buyers increasingly basing their decision making on what they have seen online, whether that’s which estate agent to list with, right through to which property to view or buy.

“However, maintaining best practice across 300 branches can be a challenge, and that’s exactly what this project is going to address, helping keep our Franchise partners at the forefront of the market.”

Will Ockenden, director of Prohibition PR, said: “This is exactly the type of training brief we love to work on; large scale, and with the potential to drive meaningful behaviour change and tangible business results.

“It’s also great to see an organisation the size of LSL taking learning and development so seriously.

“Our focus will not only be on instilling best practice across the network, but ensuring the lessons stick.”
