Join Yorkshire Building Society’s Susan Allen at our Women in Business lunch
Yorkshire Building Society chief executive Susan Allen OBE will be guest speaker at our Women in Business lunch in Lees on Thursday 11 April.
Susan has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, including retail banking, corporate banking, global banking, operations, and strategic roles, focusing on transformation and business leadership.
Her career includes serving as chief executive of retail and business banking at Santander UK, where she was recognized for her corporate allyship at the British LGBT+ Awards in 2020, and as head of customer transformation at Barclays. She joined YBS in March 2023.
Susan, a former board member of UK Finance, received an OBE in 2021 for her outstanding contributions to the financial services industry during the pandemic. Away from her day job Susan is a member of the board of trustees for the Alzheimer’s Society, helping direct its strategic direction and activities.
