Creative industries hub ready to launch new office property
Gradient Mill, a Grade A workspace at Tileyard North in Wakefield, will open this summer.
It is the first new build office property in the centre of Wakefield for over a decade and features units ranging from 2,594 to 38,810 sq ft. The building will offer enough workspace for up to 400 desks.
Joint agents on the scheme are CBRE and Fox Lloyd Jones. Clair McGowan, of CBRE, said: “The expansive reception at Gradient Mill will incorporate a communal business lounge with coffee facilities that will provide the perfect space for staff and businesses to collaborate.
“The reception also provides direct access to the central courtyard which is the perfect space to relax in the summer months.”
Harry Finney, of Fox Lloyd Jones, added: “The Gradient Mill will be one of few new build offices to complete in 2024 regionally and is a significant boost to the lack of supply of Grade A office space in Wakefield.
“It impressively combines modern design features with the heritage of the surrounding mill buildings and has expansive 8,200 sq ft floor plates, with the flexibility to split and create bespoke suites.
“We are already in discussions with a number of occupiers, and we look forward to welcoming new tenants to the unique and forward thinking building in the near future.”
Tileyard North – formerly Rutland Mills – spans 135,000 sq ft and is a sister development of Tileyard London.
In addition to Gradient Mill, Tileyard North includes flexible workspaces, event venues, recording studios, creative editing suites, and hospitality options. A boutique hotel and riverside terrace bar/restaurant are also planned.
