HSBC signs up for new city centre premises

Banking and financial services group, HSBC, has taken a lease on the second floor of Northspring Park Row, in Leeds city centre.
It says the move demonstrates its commitment to providing a healthy work-life balance for its staff.
The deal follows a number of other global financial companies – including Secure Bank Trust and Handelsbank – taking on office space in the same property recently.
Knight Frank and Carter Towler are joint agents on the building, which features a roof terrace, a fitness suite and a business lounge.
Clem McDowell, director at Carter Towler, said: “We are thrilled to welcome HSBC to the Northspring family. This latest letting is a testament to the exceptional offering that Northspring brings to the table.
“It is no surprise that the building only has one 1,400 sq ft suite remaining. Northspring brings a new class of workspace to Leeds.”
Northspring has seven office properties across the country in Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester.
