Consultancies merge to create full service sales and marketing agency

Two marketing consultancies, Hallmark Branding and Moorland Business Development have joined forces to create a new full service sales and marketing agency based in Sheffield, called Dialled In.
Brendan Hall and Josh Dickens, who met in 2016 when they worked together in the marketing department of one of the region’s largest accountancy practices, have enjoyed individual success since setting up their own consultancies, one with a key focus on marketing and the other on business development.
Having found they were still working together on many clients who needed both a sales and marketing function, the two consultants decided it was better to pool resources and aim for further growth by joining together, offering clients a suite of commercially minded marketing services.
Hall, creative director at Dialled In, said: “Myself and Josh have always had a great working relationship, right from day one when we met as part of the sales and marketing function at SMH Group.
“We then set up our own businesses, but quickly found that many of our clients wanted a joined up sales and marketing function so ended up working together on certain projects.
“Whilst joining forces was always something we said we would do, now seems like the perfect time to get everything aligned on both sides and make it happen.
“With us working together unofficially for so long, it feels like a seamless merger so far and something our respective clients have embraced through exposure to a now wider range of services.”
Dickens, commercial director at Dialled In, added: “We are excited about the opportunities this merger presents.
“We’re stronger together, and can leverage our collective experience and capabilities to deliver innovative solutions that drive real results for our clients.
“We’ve adopted the term ‘Commercially Minded Marketing’ as something that helps us differentiate from our competition.
“Lots of agencies are great at doing marketing, but not many join this up with the business development function to create an end-to-end solution. We really feel this helps set us apart and allows our clients to see greater returns from using our services.
