222-home development destined for West Yorkshire site

A new estate of over 200 homes will be coming soon to Huddersfield.
Housebuilder Redrow’s latest development is at Meadow Vale, off Bradford Road and will include a mix of three and four-bedroom properties.
Each of the 222 private sale homes will have an electric vehicle charging point, with heating and hot water provided by air source heat pumps.
The first homes at Meadow Vale are due to be released in January 2025.
Sales director for Redrow Yorkshire, Steve Jackson, said: “We are committed to creating a thriving new community in Huddersfield.
“As with all Redrow homes, these properties have a high specification, but these will also come with thicker insulation, energy efficient appliances and smart home technology, all of which can make homes more sustainable.”
In addition to the homes, the development will inject £4.7m worth of funding into the local community, agreed as part of the planning process through Section 106 contributions.
