Housebuilder acquires more land to fuel further development in 2025

Developer Miller Homes says it built nearly 500 new homes across Yorkshire during 2024.

The firm currently has eight live developments in the region, with a selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties available.

During the year, Miller Homes opened its sixth development in the City Fields neighbourhood in Wakefield, launched new phases on two of its current developments and unveiled three new show homes at its Bridgewood Green, Holmebank Gardens and The Boulevard at City Fields developments.

Work has been taking place to acquire further land which will result in at least three new housing schemes being launched in 2025 in Doncaster, York and Huddersfield.

The company says it again aims to deliver almost 500 homes in Yorkshire in 2025.

Justin Tranmere, operations director, Miller Homes Yorkshire, said: “2024 has been a strong and steady year for the Yorkshire region despite some of the wider economic challenges in the UK.

“Our team has continued to work hard to create new homes and communities in areas of the county where properties are needed, whether that’s for first time buyers or for current homeowners looking for their next move.”

“We have a superb team in Yorkshire who work together to ensure we acquire land in great locations which allows us to design and create developments that truly support people to find a perfect new home.”
