Communications firm shifts its head office to accommodate growth

A growing technology company has moved its head office to Copthall Bridge, in Harrogate, to support its expansion.
Mobile Tornado is a global provider of push-to-talk over cellular and workforce management solutions.
Its technology enables instant voice and multi-media communication over cellular networks and provides safety features, including emergency SOS alerts and GPS tracking.
The critical communications technology enables organisations to improve workforce safety, productivity, and efficiency.
As a result of recent commercial momentum, Mobile Tornado has undertaken a restructuring of its operational base and team structure.
The new office will allow the team to grow and support remote working for its team with the latest hybrid working technology. The firm operates research and development teams in the UK and India.
Luke Wilkinson, managing director of Mobile Tornado, said: “As we continue to grow around the world, it is important for our head office to be flexible enough to meet our future needs and provide a premium working environment for our team.
“Copthall Bridge stands out in Harrogate thanks to its focus on well-being and excellent technology, which supports hybrid working.”
Office group WorkWell has invested £10.5m to redevelop the Copthall Bridge site.
Oliver Corrigan, managing director of WorkWell, said: “It’s great to see our newly opened Copthall Bridge offices competing in a global market to attract companies like Mobile Tornado.
“The office is designed to provide a high-quality working environment that supports productivity. Thanks to flexible spaces and the latest technology, hybrid working is seamless. We look forward to supporting Mobile Tornado’s meteoric growth.”
