Shortlist for Yorkshire Sustainability Excellence Awards revealed

The shortlist for the Yorkshire Sustainability Excellence Awards has been revealed and features some of the region’s most exciting and innovative small businesses alongside international brands.

Created by TheBusinessDesk.com in partnership with Clarion, Deloitte and the Swinton Estate, the awards which are now in their second year, recognise businesses and organisations that are making permanent and positive changes to their environmental impact.

We received an excellent number of entries and the calibre of submissions was superb which gave the judges a tough time on deciding the shortlist.

Sheryl Moore, Yorkshire Editor of TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “The quality of entries was superb. This clearly demonstrates how important sustainability is to businesses across the region.

“All shortlisted companies have had a huge impact, whether that is through industry-leading products and processes, disrupting markets, or making a difference to communities.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating their success at the awards in April.”

The awards are being hosted at Swinton Park, near Ripon, next month, and all of the shortlisted companies are invited guests to the event. Visit www.sustainabilityexcellenceawards.uk for more information.
