Yorkshire hotels hit the market

A WELL known hotel on the Yorkshire coast and two bed and breakfast properties in a spa town have come on the market.

The Ellerby Hotel, around seven miles north of Whitby and close to Runswick Bay, Staithes and Saltburn-by-the-Sea, is up for sale for the first time in more than 25 years.

The site offers parking, a trade garden, bar and dining areas as well as ten en-suite letting bedrooms.

Property agent Colliers International is asking £1.2m for the freehold interest in the property and business.

The Leeds office of Colliers International has also been instructed to sell two bed and breakfast properties in Harrogate.

Alvera Court and Acorn Lodge are located close to the International Conference and Exhibition Centre.

Alvera Court on Kings Road includes 12 letting bedrooms, owners’ accommodation on two floors and a private car park while Acorn Lodge on Studley Road offers seven letting bedrooms, private parking area and a large four-bedroom house.

Colliers International is asking £850,000 for Alvera Court and £795,000 for Acorn Lodge.
