Two big contract wins for Northcoders

Technology training business Northcoders has secured new contracts with Skipton Building Society and Manchester Airports Group.
The contracts are with its consultancy brand, Counter.
Skipton wants to grow its internal capabilities and deliver new customer web and mobile applications for its members using the Northcoders business model of deploying advanced engineers, many of whom are either Northcoders alumni or from their Tech Returners business.
Following an initial six-month engagement with Manchester Airports Group, a further three-month contract extension has been agreed to work on a project to enhance three airport websites, and deliver an improved mobile experience.
Chris Hill, CEO of Northcoders, who won education leader of the year at the North West leadership awards last week, said: “With a focus specifically on the underserved technology training market, and offering the best-in-class Consultants, we are beginning to build a brand, relationships and pipeline to take material market share in the medium term, particularly with return customers like Manchester Airports Group.
“This demonstrates the successful diversification of Northcoders revenues as we mature as a business, addressing the UK’s significant digital skills gap in private and public services and meeting technology transformation aspirations over the coming years.”
