People: Andrew Jackson Solicitors; CorrBoard UK; and more

Andrew Jackson Solicitors has made several promotions including three new partners.
Having undertaken their legal training and subsequently gaining their legal qualifications the firm, Yasmin Fenton and Harry Mills (real estate and property), and Andrew Coish (shipping and transport) have become partners.
Nicole Waldron and Jon Croft have been promoted to the position of senior solicitor (corporate).

Scunthorpe-based sheet-feeding specialist CorrBoard UK has appointed Matthew Miller as managing director.
Matthew brings with him more than 25-years’ experience working in paper manufacturing. He was previously chief operating officer at Pelta Medical Papers,
He said: “I’m joining the business at an exciting time and want to enable the company to meet and exceed customer expectations, deliver profitable returns for shareholders and ensure safe, sustainable employment for colleagues.
“What initially attracted me to the business was how it was established; set up by a group of customer companies and still owned by four of them.
“The foundations have been laid and it’s up to us now, as a team, to take the organisation forward and to build on the success that CorrBoard has had in recent years. I’m really looking forward to the challenge.”

Sanderson Weatherall has announced several promotions across the firm following another transformational year of growth.
The promotions at the Leeds-based firm include Elizabeth Millard, Chris Kevitt and Nick Vincent, who have been promoted to partner; Kris Taylor who has been promoted to associate partner and Andrew Parnham, James Hobkirk, Gee Bhaker and Max Weston, who have been promoted to senior surveyor.
David Rastrick, chief operating officer said, “We are very pleased to recognise the ongoing contribution the eight individuals have made. They have all proven to have the expertise and market knowledge to meet our client requirements and work hard to develop meaningful relationships in their specific sectors.

Advisory firm Azets has appointed Yorkshire-based Chris Butt as its new UK head of audit.
Based in Leeds, Chris joined Azets through acquisition in December 2021. He was partner and head of audit for Azets’ Yorkshire region before being promoted to regional head of audit for Yorkshire, the North East and North West.
He succeeds Lindsey Tyler as Azets UK head of audit.
Butt is a highly experienced professional with a 15-year career at KPMG, where he progressed from trainee to director, before joining Garbutt & Elliot where he became a partner.
Butt said: “Lindsey has been an inspirational leader, and I am excited to have the opportunity to build on her significant achievements and growth of the audit service line.
“I look forward to working closely with Azets’ recently acquired audit businesses in Europe as well as fellow UK service line heads and regional managing directors to ensure our strategies complement each other and can be implemented effectively with our people and clients at the core of all key decisions.”
