Architects boost numbers

AN ARCHITECTURE firm has strengthened its team after recruiting four new staff.

Loroc Architects, established 18 months ago and based at Whitehall Waterfront in Leeds, has appointed two architectural technologists, an architectural assistant and an office manager.

The company is the brainchild of directors John Crompton, Ian Lowson and Ian Rivington and provides designs for projects including housing, retail, commercial, residential, offices, industrial, hotel and leisure and student accommodation.

Mr Lowson said: “Having worked together for a number of years and having collectively practised for over 40, we had a defined idea about the kind of firm we wanted to establish.

“Our combined skills allow us to handle developments from idea conception, through the design, planning and construction stages and we wanted to deliver this total service whilst maintaining personal management of each project. The team is growing organically and the new staff will be working closely with the Directors to deliver a range of instructions across the country.”

The new recruits are Richard Maudsley, Vrinda Srikant, Sarai Gibson and Rebecca Harris.
