Building Briefs:

BAM Construct UK is handing over eight new building projects, including two in Yorkshire, totalling around £150m of new facilities across the UK.

The projects include the refurbishment of the Arts Tower for Sheffield University and the Selby Community project, which includes council offices and a hospital in North Yorkshire.

A SELF contained suite at listed building Kings House in Leeds city centre has become available for lease.

The accommodation offers 1,400 sq ft of space at the junction of King Street and Wellington Street.

Built between 1846-56, Kings House was formerly a warehouse. The space is being marketed by Sanderson Weatherall.

LAW firm Dickinson Dees has been appointed by house builder Bellway to advise on land acquisition and plot sales requirements across the north of England.

The team at Dickinson Dees, which is moving its Yorkshire office from York to Leeds in February next year, has been appointed to Bellway’s north land and plot sales panel comprising its Yorkshire, North West and North East divisions.

AWS, acting jointly with Nabarro McAllister, has let Unit 7 Buslingthorpe Green in Leeds to building services provider  Rotary Group.

The industrial unit offers 2,300 sq ft and has been taken on a five year lease.
