Colliers International wins Siemens framework

THE Leeds-based building consultancy team at Colliers International has been appointed on a three year framework agreement to provide Siemens Real Estate with building surveying services across its UK portfolio.

The portfolio consists of more than 2m sq ft of offices and industrial buildings with around 60% of properties located in the North of England.

Paul Scourfield, director of building consultancy at Colliers International in Leeds, who is leading the Colliers team on Siemens’s project in Hull, said: “The long term relationship we have with Siemens has enabled us to understand its business aims, objectives and core values.

“We have very accurately aligned our working practices to suit which have been recognised by Siemens in the amount of new opportunities / mandates that we are now working on.”

Colliers International is also one of only two parties globally to provide valuation services to Siemens and has also been awarded a contract to provide agency advice on parts of the portfolio across the North West European cluster.

These recent appointments fall on the back of the input from Colliers’ service departments for the proposed wind turbine facility which Siemens Energy is looking to locate at Alexandra Docks in Hull.

The combined value of the investment by Siemens and developer Associated British Ports will be around £210m.
