Ranmoor Hall set for major project

DEVELOPER Jaguar Estates is set to transform a 2.3 acre woodland site under a £7m property project in the Victorian grounds of Ranmoor Hall in Sheffield.
Jaguar Estates is set to create a development of homes designed by Sheffield-based architects Coda at the Storth Hollow scheme.
The project will see eight ‘modernist eco-homes’ built.
Tim Wadsworth, director at Sheffield-based commercial and residential property developer Jaguar Estates, said: “From the outset, our objective was to create responsibly designed, eco-friendly living spaces that would sit comfortably in these historic surrounds and to give equity-rich older homeowners, who are selling up to realise cash, a luxury scheme befitting its location.
“There’s a real dearth of suitable property alternatives for this affluent group and therefore, we believe, a real opportunity for developers to bring to market grand designs in sought after residential locations.”
Coda Architects’ David Cross added: “Opportunities to build new properties in this highly desirable area don’t come along very often, and we wanted to create a scheme worthy of the fantastic woodland setting, complete with brook and private ponds.”
