MUSE Developments has asked for planning permission for the new Leeds headquarters of KPMG.
The 60,000 sq ft building will be part of a wider development on land currently used as a car park on Sovereign Street.
Development director David Wells said: “We are pleased to have submitted a detailed planning application for Sovereign Street which subject to a positive planning decision will enable Muse and our partners to deliver one of the few pre-let, Grade A, office buildings to be proposed in the city over the next few years.”
If permission is granted, building work will start next summer with KPMG moving into the new office block in 2015.
