Caterer fills up at park

THE DEVELOPER of a Yorkshire business park has revealed the the sale of a 5,000 sq ft industrial unit on the scheme to York-based firm Wards Catering.
The latest deal at Keyland Gregory’s Centurion Business Park continues an active six-month period of occupier take-up at the 47,000 sq ft development in York.
German-based Adva Optical Networking has taken 25,000 sq ft. Also, an NHS Trust has acquired approximately 5,300 sq ft of office accommodation to operate an Occupational Health Centre.
Richard Tovey, a spokesman for Keyland Gregory, said: “We are encouraged by the activity over the last few months and that our long term commitment to the project is now paying dividends. Unit 1 is now the only unit available amounting to 4,520 sq ft of modern office accommodation with 17 car parking spaces.”
Wards Catering, supplies specialist catering equipment to public and private sector organisations across the UK, has relocated its operations from two sites in Hursts Yard, York, to occupy the new industrial space.
Mr Tovey added: “The sale price for the industrial unit, in excess of £120 per sq ft, is reflective of the shortage of B2 industrial accommodation in the York area.”
