Ilkley firm brews up success

ILKLEY-based Westbrook Creative has beaten off much larger national design agencies to secure a significant new contract.
The small design and marketing agency will be responsible for developing and managing the website business for teapigs – a London-based tea merchant.
Clive Allen, Westbrook’s managing director, said that the teapig brand was a perfect fit with his company’s own vaues and forward thinking approach.
“In design and marketing the bigger companies cannot always offer the kind of original thinking and attention to detail that a cutting edge company like teapigs is looking for,” he added.
“Working on the e-commerce side of a traditional product, with 21st century edge, is exactly what we are about.”
teapigs offer a select range of high quality teas, minus snobbery or tradition.
The selection of teas and herbal infusions is sold as loose tea or packs of ‘tea temples’ in a range that includes Chilli Tea and Tung Ting Blue Tea to the more conventional signature blend Morning Glory.
Nick Kilby, teapigs director said: “Westbrook has exactly the attitude we are looking for with a can do – no problem outlook, plus we get a far more cost effective service than that available in London.”
