COMMERCIAL property firm Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has welcomed Richard Platt, head of corporate property at Westminster City Council, on board.

He joins as head of public sector across the north of the UK and will take responsibility for the leadership of the firm’s public sector activity in the north, using his expertise in property rationalisation and strategy.

He will also work with the wider LSH public sector team in delivering national contracts.

In his previous role, Platt was responsible for the management of the council’s 600 corporately occupied and investment assets.

He said: “It is wonderful to be involved in the northern property world once again, following almost nine years of commuting to London. I am looking forward to getting to know LSH’s portfolio of clients and expanding its offering across the north.”
