In brief: Internet system hailed a success, production company scoops award and more
A REVOLUTIONARY high-speed internet system developed by local civil engineering and network integration experts SCD for the Leeds Learning Network is now fully operational.
The Leeds Learning Network, which connects hundreds of our schools, universities and libraries across the city, has been radically updated to provide 10 times the existing internet band width meaning pupils, students and the local community can now enjoy surfing at a far quicker pace.
The scheme now means the city is home to one of the most innovative internet communications systems in the country and is attracting interest from other cities up and down the UK.
