Sleek deal for Adapt

YORKSHIRE cloud hosting business Sleek has been acquired by a growing IT company.

The acquisition of the Leeds-based business, which serves high-profile brands including Pizza Express and Ordnance Survey, will see London-based Adapt accelerate its growth and gain more than 20 enterprise customers, a team of 20 skilled technical staff and a strategic footprint in the North of England.

PwC’s transaction team in Manchester supported Adapt and its investor, Lyceum Capital in the acquisition.

Jonathan Cooper, transaction services partner at PwC Manchester, said: “We were delighted to support Adapt with its strategically important acquisition of Sleek, which expands the group’s offering to its customer base and provides a greater presence in the Yorkshire region and more widely across the North.”
