Yorkshire House welcomes new tenants

IT consultancy Alscient is to move into the iconic Yorkshire House in the heart of Leeds and said its relocation will provide new jobs, training and career opportunities for local people.

Alscient, which is relocating from Whitehall Road in Leeds, has taken 2,410 sq ft of office space on the fifth floor of Yorkshire House.

Yorkshire House has recently undergone a £2m refurbishment, creating Grade A office space in Leeds. It is home to law firm Lupton Fawcett Denison Till.

Eamon Fox, director at property agents DTZ, which is marketing Yorkshire House, said: “I am delighted to have acted for Alscient in the next stage of their planned growth.

Alscient have taken a five-year lease at Yorkshire House.

The flagship seven-storey building, which dominates Greek Street and East Parade in the professional and financial core of the city, is owned by the Apia Regional Office Fund and Asset Managed by Hansteen Holdings.
