DFS retail warehouse and manufacturing assets up for sale
LONDONMetric Property has put a portfolio of Doncaster-headquartered DFS retail warehouse and manufacturing assets up for sale for more than £24.2m.
According to PropertyWeek.com, this follows its acquisition of a 27-strong DFS property portfolio at the end of last year. The Suite Portfolio comprises four retail warehouses and three warehouse and manufacturing units, let to DFS Trading with more than 16 years remaining on the leases.
The sale comes after LondonMetric completed a deal in December with LVS II Lux X to buy 27 assets let to the sofa retailer for £175m from the administrators to Delphi Properties, which had bought the portfolio in a sale and leaseback deal in 2005. The full portfolio spans 900,000 sq ft of property.
The schemes include DFS stores in Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Matlock and Hull, a warehouse in Doncaster and two manufacturing sites in Alfreton and Doncaster. The schemes cover 279,561 sq ft of space.
The portfolio has been put up for sale through Savills and Allsop.
