York hotels contract for Flatcap

THE new owners of two prominent York hotels have appointed Flatcap Marketing to raise their profile.

Marmadukes and Guy Fawkes Inn were sold to unnamed buyers earlier this month in a deal negotiated by Colliers International on behalf of administrators Baker Tilly.

Hospitality marketing specialist Flatcap has now been appointed to act as marketing and commercial consultants for the two properties.

John Pallagi, co-founder of Flatcap, said: “These properties are significant hotel sites within a very competitive hotel market.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with these properties in maximising their full potential.”

The new contract means that Ripon-based Flatcap is now responsible for marketing more than 110 hotel bedrooms across Yorkshire.

Flatcap was established seven years ago with clients spread across the hotel, restaurant and food and drink supply sectors.
