YORKSHIRE-based hotel brand Roomzzz has announced that its first international opening will be in Dubai.
The news comes after the confirmation that Roomzzz has launched its international headquarters in the UAE, marking its intention to be a serious contender within a global marketplace.
Mark Walton, head of Roomzzz, said: “The brand has expanded quickly and successfully in the UK. We have had a lot of interest from key players in the international hotel community looking for opportunities to be connected with the Roomzzz brand, we feel the UAE is the ideal springboard for Roomzzz to debut on a global scale. We are currently considering a number of sites in Dubai.”
The group recently announced that its sixth UK site will be a 63 apartment and suites conversion of an existing building in Chester city centre, following that in 2015 with a seventh location in Liverpool with 108 apartments.
Originating in Leeds in 2006 the group has dominated major northern cities from the start with their ‘new generation Aparthotel’ concept.

PAMPERED pooches can benefit from a pawdicure as well as other treatments at a new dog spa.
Jessica Elvidge has just opened Princess Paws Grooming and Spa in Huddersfield with start-up support from NatWest.
The Lockwood-based business provides general dog grooming services such as bathing and clippings alongside bespoke spa services.
Elvidge said: “We know people care about their pets’ wellbeing, and we want the spa to be a place where pets can come and get a bit of pampering. The mud bath is probably the only time of their lives where dogs will be allowed to get muddy. The colouring packages are all natural colours so they will enhance the coat.”
