Business leaders take to the catwalk

YORKSHIRE business leaders are preparing to strut their stuff on the catwalk to support Cancer Research UK.
The Professionals Fashion Show Ball, which takes place next month, will see a host of well-known business figures take to the catwalk for the black-tie charity awards dinner, which will host more than 500 professionals at New Dock in Leeds.
Welcome to Yorkshire’s Gary Verity will be taking part, alongside Arif Ahmad, office senior partner at PwC in Leeds; Chris Booth, Leeds office head at Pinsent Masons and Clarion senior partner, Roger Hutton.
Other leaders getting involved this year include Dave Jones of Reward Capital; Clare Boardman of Deloitte; BDO’s Jason Whitworth, Eversheds partner Tim Buckingham; Stephen Griffiths, managing director at Rothschild; Larry Gould, chief executive officer at The Big Word; Richard Bonnar of DLA Piper; Christopher Darwin of Thomas Coombs; Tracy Fletcher from Campbell & Fletcher; Lee Marshall, a partner at Baker Tilly; Rashmi Dube of Legatus Law and Gillian Kaufman of Ward Hadaway.
The Model Employee Awards will also take place on the night, with business awards presented for Networker, Rising Star, Best Business to Work for, Most Helpful Bank and ABL business, Accountancy, Legal and Property firms with Outstanding Service, PA/Secretary, Role Model and Yorkshire Personality of 2014.
