GVA instructed on Tata Steel factory

GVA’s Yorkshire industrial and distribution team has been instructed to market TATA Steel’s former multi-products and regional strip centre in Leeds.
The property, now branded Wortley 160, extends to around 160,000 sq ft and includes a large manufacturing unit with detached office building within a secure site.
The property, located in the south of the city, is one of the largest of its type currently on the market in West Yorkshire.
Iain McPhail, associate at GVA in Leeds, said: “There is currently a shortage of high-quality large-scale manufacturing space in Leeds and West Yorkshire as a whole. This property offers the market something different and benefits from numerous travelling cranes with capacities ranging from two to 30 tonnes and large power supply.”
