Business park gets green light for expansion

PLANNING has been granted for development of a further two units at a West Yorkshire business park.

Unit 9 at Baildon Business Park is a 15,000 sq ft unit for the medical technology company Portsmouth Surgical Holdings, while the neighbouring 14,000 sq ft building is being built speculatively with discussions ongoing with a number of potential occupiers.

The planning permission follows on from the permission granted for a 28,000 sq ft unit back in February for Produmax, a precision engineering company.
Work on both phases is expected to start later this month.

Richard Heslop from Dale Eddison Commercial said: “We are delighted to bring Portsmouth Surgical Holdings to this brand new business park alongside Produmax. This is testament to the park’s ideal location and the demand for quality new build and we are in detailed discussions to bring further companies onto the park.”

Baildon Business Park is a £15m development being delivered by Pendle Russells, a joint venture between developer Pendle Projects and contractor Russells Construction.
