Yorkshire cheesemaker proves a hit with private members clubs
A NORTH Yorkshirecheese maker has proved a hit with two of the country’s largest private members clubs.
Shepherds Purse now supplies the Royal Automobile Club and the Institute of Directors (IoD) through the London Cheese Board, a specialist dairy supplier to all sectors of the foodservice industry.
Philip Corrick, executive chef for the Royal Automobile Club and Roger Evans, head chef with the IoD, will visit the Thirsk-based cheese maker this month to taste some of its latest innovations and tour the dairy.
Katie Bell, sales and marketing director at Shepherds Purse Cheeses, said: “It’s a privilege to supply such well respected private members clubs and we hope our traditionally handcrafted cheeses will be well received by members of both organisations.
“We look forward to welcoming the executive chefs to our family dairy to see first hand how we make our cheeses and introduce them to our latest innovations.”
