Brewin Dolphin makes the move in Leeds

WEALTH managers Brewin Dolphin has relocated its Leeds office to No 10 Wellington Place.
One of the largest independently-owned private client wealth managers in the UK, the firm established an office in Leeds in 1998 with the acquisition of Wise Speke, which at the outset had a small team operating as stockbrokers. Since then, the office has grown year-on-year, both in terms of staff numbers, overall funds under management and the services offered. The business manages over £1bn of funds on behalf of a range of clients. The branch has nearly 50 members of staff working in specialist teams in areas as financial planning, investments for charities and investing on behalf of intermediaries; working alongside its core investment management expertise.
The steady expansion of the branch and recent merger with the York office has resulted in a move to up-graded facilities.
Michael Craven, head of the Leeds Office said: “We are very excited about our new premises. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our new office. The move marks the start of a new era for us in Leeds and we are confident that the team will continue to grow and build on the successes of recent years.”
The five-storey new office building by MEPC is part of the extensive re-development of the Wellington Place area, creating a new business district for the city.
The Brewin Dolphin Group manages over £28bn of funds for more than 130,000 private clients and of this £22.7bn is on a discretionary basis. The firm has 29 offices throughout the UK and the Channel Islands.
