Shopfront fitters DML Group have completed a £200,000 job at Walmar House in London.

The 38,956 sq ft of offices are located near Oxford Circus. Leeds-based DML was appointed by contractor Faithdean for Great Portland Estates to manufacture and install shopfronts and entrances including glazing panels which were delivered and assembled on site.

GPE has around £3.1bn of commercial real estate, all in central London.

Chris Murray, sales and marketing director, DML Group, said: “This is a very prestigious scheme in the heart of the West End on which we’ve worked closely with Faithdean and GPE to design bespoke systems that blend with the bronze façades widely used in Regent Street and in which DML has been extensively involved.

“We have many years experience in this sector and have established an outstanding reputation for delivering large and often prestigious, commercial projects.”

Eddisons have completed a 3,500 sq ft letting at the Towngate Business Centre in Bradford.

James Hargreaves Plumbers have taken the lease on a ten year term, at £5 per sq ft. The incoming tenant has 25 plumbing depots across Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Acting on behalf of Brigdale Towngate the landlord of the site, Eddisons completed the deal with joint agent Walker Singleton.

All eight units at the centre are already let, and include tenants such as Wolseley UK, and retailer Gap.

Shazad Mahmood, an associate director at Eddisons said: “There is limited supply of good quality, well located trade counter units in and around Bradford which is putting a premium on those which do come to market.

“Although some speculative development is taking place demand is certainly outstripping supply which is delivering high levels of occupancy and driving rental values up.”
