Harworth secures more lettings at business parks after £1m revamp

PROPERTY regeneration firm Harworth Estates has leased four units at its business parks after investing £1m in upgrades.

The Rotherham-based company has seen “increased business confidence” in the regions, and at its North Yorkshire Riccall Business Park it has made two lettings.

Gold Standard Nutrition, a pre-packed health foods firm has signed a three-year lease with cold storage, and G&C Packaging has moved in on a two year lease.

At the Asfordby Business Park near Melton Mowbray, a further two lets have been secured as eSynergy Developments expands its waste treatment facility, and steel and aluminium manufacturers JT Fabrications has expanded its existed 3,429 sq ft workshop.

Liz Askam, Property Manager at Harworth Estates, said: “Our vacant stock continues to attract high levels of interest from both existing and new tenants, which is testament to our asset management initiatives which have helped enhance the quality of our business parks portfolio, such as superfast broadband, new estate landscaping and re-roofing works.”

Riccall Business Park has 65,000 sq ft of units still available, and letting agents at both parks are Lambert Smith Hampton and Colliers International.
