SHEFFIELD-BASED agency HR Media has been named as South Yorkshire’s top public relations firm which lists the North’s top 50 firms.

HR Media is the only Sheffield agency listed on Prolific North’s list, coming in at number 34.

Martin Ross, managing director at HR Media, said: “We’re delighted to be recognised as the region’s top public relations agency by Prolific North, and to be the only Sheffield-based company to make it onto the list is also a fantastic achievement.

“Our position in this year’s list highlights the success we have enjoyed so far in 2015 and demonstrates the depth of experience we have across our team.

“We hope to build upon this success whilst continuing to develop great relationships with our growing list of clients.”

LEEDS PR and social media agency Prohibition has won a new client in bed manufacturer Sealy UK, part of the Silentnight Group.

Prohibition will deliver a digital and social media campaign for Sealy, after already having won contracts with Interflora, Savills UK and Netto.

Neil Robinson, marketing director of Sealy UK, said: “Prohibition already had a deep understanding of Sealy’s values, gained from previously working with the brand on an international basis.

“As such, the agency was the obvious choice to work with here in the UK. We have a great story to tell, and Prohibition will help us to do that. We’re excited about the coming months.”

Will Ockenden, director at Prohibition, said: “Working with market leaders is always a privilege, especially for a brand like Sealy that is willing to invest properly in its marketing and take risks.

“This type of work is now typical for our agency; high impact integrated campaigns that span multiple marketing disciplines, and demonstrate tangible ROI.”

COMMERCIAL gas provider CNG has appointed Leeds brand consultancy Propaganda.

CNG will be looking at significant growth in the coming years, including an ambition to increase its market share of SME customers to 10%, therefore potentially increasing sales fivefold.

Propaganda’s consultancy work to understand customer needs and sector positioning will inform its future strategy and direction.

CNG managing director Jacqui Hall said: “Since day one, Propaganda have demonstrated their insight and the value they can offer our business. Through their work, we’ve uncovered the opportunities available to us, which will help us to grow the business in line with our ambition.

“This is an exciting time for CNG as we look to launch new products and services. As such, we’re expanding our team to make sure we’re ready. We can’t wait to fully unveil our new strategy and branding later this autumn.”

Propaganda director Craig Harrold said: “CNG are already a success story and we’re excited about being a part of their future growth. Our in-depth consultancy model has proven its worth again, by giving us the insight needed to develop this new strategy.

“Part of this will be to really elevate the brand in front of key audiences and celebrate their differences in what can be an extremely challenging sector.”
