Appointments: Jones Homes, CBRE, Adept Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers

HOUSEBUILDER Jones Homes has appointed regional director Noel Adams to head up its Yorkshire operations.
In his new position he will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of Jones Homes’ Yorkshire division, which includes a number of developments across the region.
Mr Adams commented: “I am delighted to join Jones Homes and very much look forward to developing the division over the next few years.
“My passion has always been for residential development and, given that the market is making a strong return, I am pleased to be joining this regional housebuilder with an exemplary reputation, strong and competent management team and consistent financial performance.”

CBRE has appointed James Brindley as surveyor within its Specialist Markets team.
He will be working on the team’s extensive and varied instructions throughout the north of England to help drive and expand its regional offering.
Mr Brindley will be based in CBRE’s Leeds office.

LEEDS-BASED Adept Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers has appointed two new interns and an apprentice.
Farah Khoury from Leeds University and Billy Kelham from Coventry University are both second year MEng Civil Engineering students.
They will now support Adept’s team of 24 for up to a year. Ms Khoury will be the company’s first female intern and she recently launched Leeds University’s Student Women’s Engineering Society.
Brandon Baldwin also joins the company as an apprentice after studying for his A-levels. As part of his training, he will spend one day a week at Leeds College of Building where he will study for a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Civil Engineering.
