American-style diner gets its feet under the table at Frenchgate

A RETRO-STYLE American diner is opening its doors at Doncaster’s Frenchgate Shopping Centre.

Ed’s Easy Diner opened its first classic diner in Soho, London more than 25 years ago. and has expanded to include a chain of 50 restaurants.

It was ranked in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table in 2014 and has plans to expand its chain to more than 100 diners across the UK.

For the year ended 30 September 2014, the Ed’s Easy Diner Group reported turnover of £26.5m, up from £17.5m the year before.

The diner’s site at Frenchgate will total 2,600 sq ft.
