Korean grill and barbecue restaurant sizzles after one year

KOREAN table-top barbecue restaurant Bulgogi Grill is celebrating its one year anniversary with sales up 30% and expansion into the North West on the horizon.

Located on Merrion Way, Bulgogi was opened in 2014 by owner and Leeds entrepreneur Adam Harris, who was inspired by his travels in the Far East.

The restaurant site recently underwent an extension to accommodate high demand.

The authentic Korean BBQ restaurant served dinner to consuls from the Korean Embassy last night to celebrate the milestone, along with the headteachers and presidents of Leeds Korean School.

The visit was organised by the school and attempted to highlight the influential role the school plays in the city amongst Korean students and those with an interest in learning the language.
