Appointments: CJCT Architects; Gregory Property Group; Carter Jonas; Sanderson Weatherall; CPP

ARCHITECTS Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher Architects have appointed design director Chris Boyce.
Mr Boyce joins from Capita, ranked at number 5 in the Architects’ Journal top UK list.
He has previously held roles with Sir James Stirling, Michael Wilford and Partners, Sanya Polescuk Architects, and Aedas before joining Capita.
He will undertake a national role, working from the Leeds and London offices.

CJCT is undertaking developments at Thorpe Park and Wellington Place in Leeds, Phase 2 of Digital Campus in Sheffield, and the residential scheme, The Hat Box in Manchester. .

LEEDS’ Gregory Property Group is having a management restructure as commercial director Richard Tovey has announced he will leave the business at the end of the year.
Andrew Foggitt will take over his role, and Gregory is looking for someone to take over his role as residential manager.
Mr Foggitt has previously held senior roles with Donaldsons Chartered Surveyors, Tranville Developments and Buzzard Developments.
Philip Lees continues as project director for the company and Marjorie Robertson as company secretary and accountant.
Barry Gregory said: “It makes perfect sense for Andrew Foggitt to step into Richard’s role having held a senior position in the business for the last eighteen months bringing forward residential developments.
“His significant development expertise, sector knowledge and regional contacts are extremely valuable as we continue our drive to acquire and develop new sites.”

PROPERTY consultancy Carter Jonas has launched a new service for town centre house buyers and sellers, and appointed Harlan Pollitt to head up the division.
As head of town sales, Mr Pollitt will join the firm’s residential team in Harrogate to head up its dedicated service for vendors in the town.
Mr Pollitt comes from a commercial agency background and joins the firm from the Leeds office of Land Securities where he was portfolio manager, managing £750m of assets. Prior to that he was property and development manager at Evans Property Group.
Tony Wright, partner and head of residential at Carter Jonas said: “This is a significant appointment and follows our identification of the Harrogate town centre market as buoyant. Carter Jonas is already well established in the middle and upper end of the property market in the villages surrounding the town.

CHARTERED surveyor and property consultants Sanderson Weatherall have appointed four trainees to its Leeds office.
Michael Jameson, Bryony Grimshaw and Sam Weightman are on year-long placements with the firm, and graduate Harry Naylor joins them.

PROPERTY consultancy Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has appointed Richard Armitage to lead their facilities management service.
He joins as an associate from welfare-to-work provider A4e in Sheffield, where he was national facilities manager.
He previously worked for Sodexo Property Solutions in Leeds and BNP Paribas Real Estate in London.
Toby Vernon, co-founder of CPP with Roger Haworth, added: “CPP has already come a long way since we launched in September 2013. Our Property and Asset Management team has also gone from strength to strength and I know that Richard will be a great addition to the team.”
