Appointments: Bridge McFarland, Powell Williams, Extreme Creations

COMMERCIAL land and property lawyer Martyn Justice has joined the Grimsby offices of Bridge McFarland Solicitors.

Mr Justice has spent 25 years in the East Riding and North East Lincolnshire, working with commercial clients, after beginning his career at Leamington Spa.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining one of the premier commercial firms in the Humber area. I believe that there is a very good fit between the firm and the skills that I have as an experienced advisor to commercial businesses across the region.

“I look forward to working with my new colleagues and to further developing the services available to our clients.”

BUILDING consultancy Powell Williams has appointed Sue Fendt as business development and marketing manager.

Ms Fendt will work across four offices in Leeds, London, Chester and Birmingham, helping senior partner Andrew Marshall drive new business.

She has worked with professional services firms before

The 25 year-old company acts for clients on the acquisition and renovation of property assets.

Senior partner Andrew Marshall said: “The business has seen sustained growth over the last few years, thanks to a combination of new clients, larger schemes and existing clients expanding their requirements to take advantage of our broader range of services.

“These new streams of work have come mainly through our network of existing clients and contacts. In order to take the next step and grow the business further, however, we need to open up new markets.

“We’re doing this through geographical expansion and with the help of a business development specialist. We selected Sue because of her proven experience within professional services industry and her unrivalled enthusiasm for the role, and were delighted she agreed to come and help us on this journey.”

She joins from another agency in the region, to help meet increased demand for social media and web content

Her role at Extreme will involve writing varied material for clients in diverse sectors including retail, construction and the arts.
