Appointments: Doncaster Chamber; International Personal Finance; Frenchgate Shopping Centre

DONCASTER CHAMBER has appointed Kelvin Fitton of Smith Craven Chartered Accountants as its new president.

The founder of Smith Craven, Edward Smith, was one of the people who helped establish the Chamber in 1941.
During his two year tenure as Chamber President, Mr Fitton hopes to see an increase in the number of members using Chamber services and attending events and help local businesses to work more closely together and to buy from each other.
He said: “It is an honour to be made president of the Chamber in my home town and in its 75th year. We have some exciting times to look forward to in 2016; the opening of the FARRRS link road to the airport, the building commencement of the HS2 Rail College and hosting the Stage 2 finishing point of the Tour de Yorkshire- all things that we, as people of Doncaster, should be proud of.”
