HERE is the fourth acquisition for growing property group

PROPERTY group Linley & Simpson has taken over independent letting agency HERE as it continues its expansion plans.

The residential sales and lettings business bought Leeds Lets in January 2015, Chapel Allerton-based Hendys in April and a third, undisclosed, purchase in the autumn having set a target of doubling the size of the business over a three-year period.

Its latest deal will see all the properties previously managed by HERE merge into Linley & Simpson’s city centre branch in Swinegate. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.

Will Linley, director of Linley & Simpson, said: “The acquisition of HERE is a natural progression for us. All the properties we have inherited will fit seamlessly into the growing portfolio managed by our Swinegate branch, which has had its busiest year since it opened its doors in 2005.

“This is a further signal of the strength of the Leeds city centre market and its appeal as a prime location to work and live.”

Linley & Simpson employs 155 people across its 11 offices in West and North Yorkshire.

Its recent acquistions have been supported by a £1.8m funding package from Santander last year.
