Child’s play for nursery group investing in Leeds site

A NURSERY group has acquired a site at Kiln Park in Allerton Bywater near Leeds.

The group, Just Childcare, is set to build its first new-build nursery in the UK at the site.

It has five other nurseries in Yorkshire.

Now the 23,958 sq ft site will add to its portfolio. They are planning to build a 5,000 sq ft facility with room enough for 82 children.

Kiln Park is the result of a joint venture partnership between Priority Space and H.G. Holdings.

The JV announced plans to speculatively build 20,811 sq ft of commercial accommodation comprising eight new industrial units and three new retail units.

Adam Richardson of Priority Space said, “We are delighted to have agreed a sale with Just Childcare which is a well-regarded nursery group.

“The facility is perfect for the site providing an attractive amenity for new occupiers as well as the local residential area. This will boost interest already shown by potential occupiers looking to purchase their own premises within the Leeds area. “

David Johnson, co-founder of Just Childcare said, “Kiln Park is a fantastic new location for us to build our first purpose built nursery in Yorkshire.

“We are looking forward to providing quality childcare around Allerton Bywater and to the new families moving into The Potteries new housing development by Keepmoat. We are pleased to have been able to buy the site which is a rare opportunity in the Leeds area.”
