Lotus vehicle dealership finds a new home

A MOTOR group is moving its Lotus dealership from Leeds to Yeadon.

JCT600 represents the Lotus brand in the region, and is moving to a new showroom on Rawdon roundabout in Yeadon from a site on Gelderd Road in Leeds.

The site was home to the Porsche Centre for 20 years and was formerly a showroom for pre-owned vehicles.

The motor group still operates the site, which is shared with a JCT600 Bentley dealership – set to be upgraded to a corporate site in the summer.

Jason Smith, brand Director for JCT600, says: “As both Bentley and Lotus are expanding their range of cars, both marques had outgrown their shared premises in Leeds. Dean Gabbitas, Ian Broadbelt, Jake Woodward, and Richard Peel of Lotus Leeds

“We have a long heritage with Lotus and this move to its own sole dealership will enable us to give more focus to the Lotus brand.

“Lotus is a niche product with a loyal customer following and we expect its new, high profile location to attract a lot of attention.”

Lotus’ after sales operation has moved to JCT600’s Menston facility on Bradford Road.

Headquartered in Bradford, JCT600 is a family business with 50 dealerships throughout Yorkshire, the North East, the Humber, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
