Gym brand launches in Leeds with £500,000 investment

A £500,000 purpose-built facility will house the newest Anytime Fitness gym in Leeds.

The 5,280 sq ft site, located at Moor Allerton, will open in July this year and offer facilities for a potential 1,500 members.

The 24-hour site is being launched by general manager Graham Lilley as well as Mike Racz, who owns Domino’s Pizza and Costa franchises, and business partner Roland Zicska.

Mr Racz said: “Our new Leeds facility does exactly what it says on the tin. From July, we’ll be offering 24/7 fitness in convenient and affordable state-of-the-art facilities, including cutting edge strength training and cardio equipment.

“Demand for 24-hour gyms is very much on the rise. With people leading increasingly busy lifestyles, the opportunity to fit in a work-out at any time of the day or night is now crucial.

“Moor Allerton is a great location. It’s a very much up and coming area of Leeds with plenty of local parking available, so we’re expecting to fill up membership places very quickly. In fact, we’re already taking members now.

“We’re confident those looking to keep on top of their fitness will be impressed with our facilities and prices, and we’re already on the look-out for potential locations for further Anytime Fitness venues in and around Leeds.”
