Leeds property group expands across the Pennines
LUXURY student accommodation provider IconInc has announced its expansion into Liverpool.
Launched by Parklane Group, one of Yorkshire’s leading property firms, in Leeds in September 2015, IconInc instantly hit national headlines dubbed as “Britain’s most luxurious student digs”, for its first development, The Edge in Leeds.
Now, the company is expanding its offering of high-end student living across the North with a new development in the Rope Walks district of Liverpool, between both universities, due to open to students September 2017.
The Ascent, a 12-storey high valued at £24m will include 192 luxury self-catering student apartments and provide boutique hotel-like living 365 days of the year with en-suite bathrooms, plush double and king beds, a flat screen TV, super high-speed Wi-Fi and all-inclusive utility bills.
It will also boast an on-site gym with personal trainers, a cinema room, a games zone, continental daily breakfast, study rooms, set alsolf-service pantry and 24hr concierge.
Tenants will be able choose from a range of optional extras including professional cleaning, daily fresh fruit delivery, kitchen equipment, luxury Egyptian cotton towels and bedding hand-picked by IconInc’s interior designers.
The Ascent, the second IconInc development, will optimise luxury with additional facilities to its first development – there be will a themed music room, inspired by renowned Liverpool artists, along with the addition of a sauna and steam room.
