Traffic Alert: M621 closed in both directions

THE M621 is closed between J7 and the M1 J43 in both directions.

West Yorkshire Police are said to be dealing with an incident nearby.

Congestion is all the way back to junction 2 of the M621, with the A58 also being affected.

Traffic approaching on the M1 northbound may continue to J44 and exit to join the A639 and A61 following hollow circle diversion symbols on local road signs towards Leeds to join the M621 at J7.

Traffic on the M621 eastbound wishing to join the M1 southbound may exit at J7 and use the A61 and A639 to join the M1 southbound at J44.
