Five Leeds bars to try this weekend

1. Slate NQ – If the sun is shining this weekend then Slate NQ is the place to be! They have huge outdoor areas including the upstairs terrace which overlooks the park and is the perfect sun trap. They offer a fantastic range of drinks including 16 choices of different beers along with an extensive cocktail menu. They also serve great pizzas and burgers and not forgetting they have awesome pool tables. Wondering what the NQ stands for? Northern Quarter of course!

2.  Shed Bar – If you like rock, indie and partying, you will love The Shed! The variety of drinks is exceptional, with a huge range of spirits, including a vast rare malt whisky selection, world beers, real ales and cocktails. The venue itself has a unique personality; exposed brickwork and dark wood with the natural acoustics adding an awesome effect to the already incredible sound. You can even see the ripples in your glass as trains rumble by overhead.

3. Roxy Ball Room – Got a friends birthday this weekend and not sure where to go? Then Roxy Ball Room is the place for you! The only bar in Leeds with ping pong, pool, mini golf and beer pong all under one roof! Serving craft beers, signature cocktails, pizzas and burgers. Try the Mac n Cheese balls, they are seriously good!

4. Brooklyn – A quality independent bar on Call Lane, which plays the best in funk, soul and disco. Brooklyn serve amazing cocktails, beers, wines and spirits and is the ideal spot for a Saturday night dance with your friends! Need to feed the hangover? Well they serve a fantastic selection of nachos, burgers and burritos.

5. Roxy Lanes – Roxy Lanes is the first boutique bowling alley in Leeds serving craft ale, cocktails and pizza. Did you know they also have Roxy Juniors Sunday to Friday 3pm-6pm and Saturdays 10am-3pm so the little ones can also get in on the fun!
