Jobs created as Halifax restaurant opens

A HOTEL near Halifax has opened a restaurant creating seven jobs.

Specialising in locally-sourced Yorkshire beef burgers, Rock Burger Kitchen at the Rock Hotel opened its doors last week.

With a new team and renovated restaurant, the burger menu includes the best British beef from R&J catering butchers, a free range farm in the Yorkshire Dales, while Deli Fresh provide the seasonal vegetables to accompany the selection of burgers.

Owner, Paul Anderson is keen to provide local residents with something different and give something back to the community.

For every classic Rock Burger sold, 50p will go to local charit Overgate Hospice, based just a mile away from the Rock hotel and restaurant.

He said: “With a new team, look and menu we aim to provide something different for the area. Our chef has sourced some top class suppliers to ensure we provide high-quality burgers and we have ambitious plans to become the go-to place to enjoy a good burger in Calderdale.”
